Can God forget about you?

Can God forget You

I was once asked to pray in church, asking God to “REMEMBER ME” in areas of my life where I think God has forgotten about. So, I prayed ceaselessly and wailed hard in every language I knew. But is this true? I know there are many parts of the Old Testament where people prayed and cried out to God before they were answered, but does this pertain to us now? Are we still supposed to be asking God to “REMEMBER US” when we are born again? Is Christ not supposed to be living in you when you become Born-Again? Let’s dig into scriptures because many people are still in the bondage of the Old Covenant.

Hebrews 13:5, “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee; (KJV).” God will never leave you; don’t let anyone tell you that God has forgotten or left you when you do something wrong. It is the same God that will help you out of that ditch if you fall. Do you know how many times you have done terrible things and sinned against God? Why didn’t God strike you down? He helped you back up, and He will always help you rise again if you miss it. The Amplified version of the same verse stresses it out more: …for He has said, “I will never [under any circumstances] desert you [nor give you up nor leave you without support, nor will I in any degree leave you helpless], nor will I forsake or let you down or relax My hold on you [assuredly not]! (AMPC).” Go and relax, God cannot leave you under any circumstance. God said He will not give you up or leave you without support. Also, He said He will not leave you helpless. It does not matter whatever you were told, just remember this scripture.

Jesus Himself also said in Matthew 28:20, “Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (KJV).” So, why do we keep crying and asking God to remember us? Shouldn’t the approach be to believe instead? Your life will be a lot better if you always remember these scriptures that God will never leave you; you just have to believe it to have the manifestation.

Love of God

Knowing God
That We May Know Him

In Christianity, the doctrine of the Trinity describes God as one God in three divine Persons (each of the three Persons is God himself). The Most Holy Trinity comprises God the Father, God the Son (which is Jesus Christ God), and God the Holy Spirit.
