Complete in him

Complete in him

As Christians, we need to understand that we are complete in Christ and don’t need the help of anything or anyone else to complement our completeness. Because Colossians 2:10, “And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power. (KJV).” The Amplified Classic Version reads, “And you are in Him, made full and having come to fullness of life [in Christ you too are filled with the Godhead—Father, Son and Holy Spirit—and reach full spiritual stature]. And He is the Head of all rule and authority [of every angelic principality and power].” In summary, what does this scripture imply?

  1. If we have surrendered our life to Christ, we are in Him, which also means we are immersed inside of Him.
  2. If we have surrendered our life to Christ, we are filled with Him and hence filled with the Godhead, which is the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.
  3. That Christ is the head of all rule and authority. And since we are in Him, we are automatically the head of all rule and authority too.
  4. If we have surrendered our life to Christ, we are complete in Him, and we don’t need any other human power to affirm that. His power is enough.

As Christians, this is one scripture we need to digest, understand and meditate upon every single day. Because there are so many things out there that speak otherwise and may confuse us.

You must also understand that you don’t need any other power from any man of God or prophet to be complete in Christ, all you need is Jesus and Jesus alone. We need Pastors and teachers to help teach the word and show us more and more about the finished works of Jesus Christ. Any teaching that does not reflect Jesus and His finished works is not Christianity because there is no Christianity without Christ.

Love of God

Knowing God
That We May Know Him

In Christianity, the doctrine of the Trinity describes God as one God in three divine Persons (each of the three Persons is God himself). The Most Holy Trinity comprises God the Father, God the Son (which is Jesus Christ God), and God the Holy Spirit.
